From Singapore, the trip continued to Indonesia in week 29 with meetings in Jakarta and Yogyakarta. Through professional assistance from the Danish Embassy, a meeting was set up with Jakarta’s official wastewater utility company, PAL Jaya, and in the course of 2 days packed with meetings and site visits, it was agreed to continue working on a concept of wastewater and waste in which authorities etc. are to be involved.

During the 3 days in Yogyakarta, we managed to secure an agreement and a Letter of Interest (LoI) signed by the Crown Princess Mangkubumi herself. Meetings were also held with Prince Wironegoro (married to Her Royal Highness, Crown Princess Mangkubumi), who is in charge of the development of infrastructure etc.
